Jakarta, November 2014 – Tata Motors Distribusi Indonesia (TMDI), fully subsidiary of Tata Motors Ltd, India’s largest global automotive company and Tata Motors’ authorized agent in Indonesia, today introduced E-Cats and A-D-A.
E-CATS is an online catalog system that gives TMDI 3S (Sales, Service, and Spare parts) dealers the ability to check stock availability, understand product details of Tata Motors genuine parts, and to check prices and place orders.
A-D-A is a TMDI Customer Care division program which committed to provide the best experience to customers for spare part transactions in relations to availability, durable, and affordable price guarantee. A-D-A is an acronym for Availability, highly Durable products and Affordable price.
In accordance to Tata Motors’ global service standard, all 3S TMDI dealers and Tata Certified Workshops (TCW) as TMDI 2S outlets operating in 9 major Indonesian cities have 600 types of parts in adequate quantities. In their inventory, with its workshops equipped with 80 special tools to support vehicle service and maintenance. The Tata Parts Center in Cibitung have over 8,000 tupes of parts. Right from nuts to aggregates to body parts. No new product is introduced till adequate quantity of parts are stocked locally.
TMDI guarantees that every single Tata Motors vehicle spare parts available in Indonesia with same day order delivery to all 3S TMDI dealers.
This is made possible due the implementation of a quick, efficient, and just in time spare part distribution channel, all of which integrated in an online system and supported by TMDI’s partnership with global logistics company TOLL Logistics, and Indonesian logistics companies such as JNE, Pandu, and Scan Global.

Biswadev also added that Tata Motors genuine parts are of Tata Motors’ global standard with the highest grade and quality. Our spare parts are the parts that we put as OE fitment in our vehicles. We don’t offer any lower grade as spare parts. While all Tata Motors genuine parts are imported from India, some accessories are being developed in Indonesia in cooperation with local accessories producers.
