Tata Motors’ South Jakarta Dealer Inauguration

With a target to serve hundreds of test drive requests

Jakarta, 24 April 2014 : Tata Motors Sales, Service, and Spareparts (3S) dealer, PT. Gema Prima Indonesia (GPI), was officially inaugurated on 24 April 2014. The inauguration was led by President Director of PT. Tata Motors Distribusi Indonesia (TMDI), Biswadev Sengupta, as acting authorised agent of Tata Motors in Indonesia.

GPI is a company with experience in four-wheel automotive vehicles sales and marketing. Director of GPI, Winarto, is confident that both Tata Motors passenger vehicles (SUV, MPV, hatchback, and sedan) and commercial vehicles will be well accepted by the Indonesian public, especially with the strengthening of Tata’s brand image, the expansion of 3S dealers, and top notch customer service.

GPI’s showroom was made to meet Tata Motors’ global standards. In its effort to market Tata Motors products, GPI is spearheaded by well trained and experienced automotive marketing staff, and aligns its sales strategy with the characteristics of buyers in South Jakarta.

“We are sure that as of today, our service to GPI customers will be more intensive, with a wider sales prospect,” said Winarto.

Winarto also added that he does not have a sales target at the moment. “Our target at the moment is to fulfill the hundreds of test drive requests from our potential customers. The promotion by Tata Motors’ authorised agent is very effective. There is still a lot of test drive requests that we have yet to serve,” closed Winarto.
