After Sales Network of Tata Motors Growing Fast

Now supported by 100 parts shops and Tokopedia

Jakarta, 23 December 2016 – Tata Motors Brand Authorized Distributor in Indonesia, PT Tata Motors Distribusi Indonesia (TMDI), in pursuit to serve their customer in much more effective way, has announced their partnership with 100 spare part shops throughout Indonesia. This partnership is part of the Tata Dekat dan ADA (Tata DDA) program. Tata DDA officially launched by TMDI at IIMS 2016 to increase reach and availability of TATA Genuine Parts at same price. Now customers can get TATA Genuine parts like any other competition vehicle in multi brand parts shop.

“Tata DDA is one of the most important commitments of Tata Motors for its customers in Indonesia. This program is designed to enhance the Peace of Mind offerings with easy access of TATA Genuine Parts, closer to the doorsteps of customers,” said Biswadev Sengupta, President Director of TMDI.

According to Biswadev, Tata Motors Genuine Parts stock (line items) has gone beyond 2100 across the 100 parts shops within six month and will continue to increase every month. Additionally spare part’s stock in TCW (Tata Certified Workshop) network or 2S partner (Service & Spare Parts) has also increased to 1512 SKU to provide prompt service to TATA Customers.

TMDI authorized dealer (3 S) across Indonesia have stocks of 11590 (line items) spread across 19 dealers which is backed by 1805 line items consignment stock from TMDI to guarantee 1X24 hours program at all 3S dealerships.

Tata Parts Centre – the Central Warehouse which is located in Cibitung add up to 12.500 spare parts line items from fasteners to body parts. TMDI stock all parts required for TATA Vehicles so that consumers in Indonesia do not have to wait for parts at any point of time.

Tata Motors also launched TOPS (TATA ONLINE PARTS SHOP) to improve availability of TATA Genuine parts through its partners and Tokopedia in one of the latest Partner of Tata Motors Distribusi Indonesia for online Spare parts shopping. With the increasing preference of online purchase TMDI offers the best solutions where customers can directly connect, order and receive the parts at their door steps at a click of a button. More than 90 types of fast moving Genuine Tata Motors spare parts are available in Tokopedia,” Said Biswadev. He also informed that Tata Genuine Parts are now is easy to obtain anywhere across Indonesia at the most affordable price.

“In the future, we will have more partners providing active support of parts through online shopping portal to enhance the experience of our customers. The response of TOPS from our corporate, small and medium entrepreneur, is very encouraging as they get all details of product and price online with guarantee of delivery through transporter of their choice from the online shopping portal,” said Biswadev.
